Skiing in Morillon and Montchavin |
This was our first significant trip in Priscilla. We took the Dover—Calais ferry and headed off to the French Alps for some skiing. It was our first experience of “wild camping” as we stayed for 4 nights on the car park at Morillon. It was below freezing outside but we were warm as toast inside with our gas central heating. We then went on to Montchavin (nr. La Plagne) and stopped for 6 nights on a Caravaneige campsite. Excellent skiing and campsite facilities were spotless. The two weeks away were over far too quickly and we would have been happy to stay on much longer in our home from home. |
